Chris Davis and Amy Alesio repeat as Mixed Pairs Champions for 2010

We had a great Mixed Pairs Tournament on Saturday May 22nd with 12 teams competing on a cool spring day with the rain holding off until our playoff.  After some intense games we had a tie for first place between Chris and Amy and Tony Scott,(our visitor from Australia) and Nancy Nishikawa.  We had a very competitive playoff held in the rain as Chris and Amy won by two ends to one.  Richard Broad and Joann Forrest secured third place after counting up the +/- points.

This is the most entries we have had for our Mixed Pairs Tournament for several years and bodes well for the coming years as more members become interested.  Thank you for everyone who entered and made for a very successful tournament.
