The Pairs Playdowns is a double elimination, multi-day tournament. Two losses and you're out. Keep winning and you keep playing. The last teams left standing (one men's, one women's) represent the Northwest Division at the US Championships.

For the first time in over a dozen years, the US Championships are being hosted at Jefferson Park (2011).
